( 01 The team )
( Who you meet )
The people who pitch the work make the work. There is no account layer, no handover, and nobody presenting a project they did not touch.
Sixteen in Brooklyn, ten in Lisbon. Average tenure five years and four months.

If nobody can name the number, the brief is not ready and we should not be quoting it.
Started the studio in 2014 with a plotter and a five-week rebrand. Writes the positioning on most engagements and chairs the ninety-day review, including the ones that go badly.

One idea, argued properly. Three concepts is a studio hedging its own bet.
Runs identity work and the guidelines that follow it. Responsible for the 2021 decision to stop presenting alternatives, which halved revision rounds and cost us exactly one client.

A performance budget agreed in week one is worth more than any audit in week twelve.
Joined in 2019 and ended the handover. Design and build now sit in the same Wednesday review, on stacks the client’s own team can maintain after we leave.

An identity dies quietly in the six months after launch, when nobody is left to feed it.
Runs photography, film and the templates that let a client’s marketing team keep producing. Built the motion system that ships with every identity engagement.

1
Every project is staffed with a partner, a lead and no more than three others. Larger than that and the work starts needing meetings to explain itself.
( 05 A week here )
Two studios, four hours of daily overlap, and one meeting everybody attends.
Monday
Both floors work on the current sprint. Nothing is scheduled before noon in either city.
Wednesday
10:00 EST. Every live project on the wall, ten minutes each, everyone in the room.
Thursday
On-sites, kickoffs and the ninety-day reviews. Brooklyn hosts, Lisbon dials in.
Friday
First Friday of the month. Students, clients and anyone curious enough to knock.
Any day
Four days in studio, one wherever the work goes best. Nobody tracks which.

Freelancers are named in proposals and credited in the work. If somebody outside the studio made it, the client knows who.
